Part 1: Manoeuvres
1 ball per player.
Group divided into 3 groups and starting in shaded areas.
Run around the area dribbling the ball for 35 seconds.
Coach says 'GO' and the players set up behind one of the objects and lift the ball backwards and forwards for 35 seconds.
Coach says 'GO' and the players accelerate to the next area.
Repeat 3 times, then perform exercise in the opposite direction.
COACHING POINTS
Stick on the ball, head up for vision, fast hands. Keep feet moving, fluid ball movement, focus on speed.
Part 2: Eliminations
2 players on each orange cone.
1st player from each cone carries the ball forward at the same time.
Players lift the ball over each object all the way across.
When players reach orange cone, next player continues exercise.
Score 1 point for every time players reach the orange cone.
Coach times 3-minutes.
Repeat twice as players attempt to beat their score.
COACHING POINTS
Stick on the ball, head up for vision, drive into space. Accelerate/decelerate into space, keep feet moving, focus on speed.
Part 3: Connections
2 players on each cone.
1st player on each cone carries ball and lifts over object, then completes 3 passes with player waiting on orange cone and continues run.
Once player receives 3rd pass, carries ball towards object and continues the exercise.
Score 1 point every time player reaches orange cone.
Coach times 2-minutes and then repeats in opposite direction.
COACHING POINTS
Stick on ball, head up for vision, weighted pass. Keep feet moving, focus on speed.
Part 4: Small Group Gameplay
2 v 2 Dynamic battle.
1 player from each team starts next to each other on opposite sides of the red cone.
Coach says 'GO' and passes the ball anywhere into the playing area.
1 player from each team on each side of the area sprint around the goals in opposite directions to enter the game.
Blue team can only score in the A goals and yellow team can only score in the B goals from within shaded area.
Battles last 30 seconds or until a goal is scored.

Adapt to situation, confidence under pressure. Identify space, be aggressive. Quick reactions, assess situation, presence.
