Part 1: Manoeuvres
1 ball per player.
Group divided into 3 groups and starting in shaded areas.
Run around the area dribbling the ball for 35 seconds.
Coach says 'GO' and the players set up behind one of the objects and lift the ball backwards and forwards for 35 seconds.
Coach says 'GO' and the players accelerate to the next area.
Repeat 3 times, then perform exercise in the opposite direction.
COACHING POINTS
Stick on the ball, head up for vision, fast hands. Keep feet moving, fluid ball movement, focus on speed.
Part 2: Eliminations
1st player carries ball forward, lifting over objects and spinning around tyres.
When player reaches orange cone, waiting player carries forward and continues the exercise.
While players are waiting, lift the ball from static position.
Score 1 point every time player reaches orange cone.
Coach times 3-minutes. Repeat twice as players attempt to beat last score.

Stick on ball, head up for vision. Keep feet moving, focus on speed.
Part 3: Connections
1st player carries ball, lifting over objects and forward spin around the tyre.
Make pass to the outside of the red cone where receiver leads, receives and continues the exercise.
Score 1 point for every completed pass.
Coach times 3-minutes. Repeat twice as players attempt to better their scores.

Stick on the ball, head up for vision, lead late. Keep feet moving, focus on speed.
Part 4: Small Group Gameplay
1 v 1 into 2 v 2 - Reactive.
Blue player (attacker) carries ball around yellow cones and enters playing area while red player (defender) runs around blue cones and tries to win the ball.
Both players can score in any goal at any time from within the shaded area (2 yards) and then join the 2 v 2.
As soon as first players cross over the white line, second set of players repeat going around the cones and enter the playing area creating 2 v 2.
Either team can score in any goal at anytime.
Battles last 45 seconds or until a goal is scored.
COACHING POINTS
Confidence under pressure, decision-making, attack. When to eliminate/pass. High intensity on and off the ball.
